Brown Honeycomb | Cotton - by the 1/4 metre
Hand blocked Indian print mulmul fabric
Brown with beige.
Mulmul (pronounced muh-l muh-l as in mulberry) is a fine, soft cotton muslin from India. It is sheer, delicate and lightweight and often referred to as the wonder gossamer or woven wind. Historically, it was a fabric once exclusive to Indian royalty, which today has gained popularity all over the world.
Block printing is an age-old traditional technique which uses wooden blocks and dyes for printing designs. Natural colours and dyes are used in the manufacturing of these block print fabrics, and the entire process is completely handmade. This beautiful fabric gets softer with each wash, making it a perfect choice for your handmade wardrobe.
